Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed when you use Kaevra ("App"). We aim to collect only the information needed to provide logging, syncing, coaching collaboration, race planning, health import, nutrition workflows, and related app functionality.
Core Privacy Principle: Kaevra uses a mix of on-device storage and cloud-backed services. Some of your data remains cached locally on your device, while some account, session, connection, training plan, race planning, nutrition, health import, and photo information may be processed through Aetivio Cloud and supporting infrastructure so features like sign-in, sync, coaching workflows, and remote media access can work.
2. Information We Process

- Authenticate users and restore sessions
- Create and manage profiles
- Store and sync workout, body metric, race-plan, and history information
- Support trainer, student, and friend connections and workout assignment flows
- Support nutrition guidance, weekly plans, food diary, hydration tracking, meal-photo logging, and coach review
- Import and review selected Apple Health workouts
- Upload, retrieve, and display activity and profile photos

4. Connections, Coaching, and Shared Visibility
If you use connection features, certain data may be visible to connected users as part of the App's intended functionality. For example, a trainer may view data needed to assign workouts, review progress, or manage nutrition guidance; a student may view training or nutrition plans assigned by a trainer; and friends may see limited shared timeline information. You should use those features only with people you trust.
5. Apple Health Data
If you choose to connect to Apple Health, the App may request permission to read supported health and workout data so you can review and import workouts. We access only the categories needed for the features you choose to use, and imported records may then become part of your Kaevra activity history.
6. Photos and Media
If you choose to upload profile or activity photos, the App may create optimized local image variants and upload image files to remote storage associated with your account or activity. Uploaded photos may be accessible through authenticated cloud-backed views and may remain in storage until deleted in accordance with App behavior and backend retention practices.
7. Authentication and Security
The App uses Sign in with Apple and stores session material locally using device security features such as the keychain where applicable. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Third-Party and Platform Services
The App may rely on third-party or platform services that have their own privacy practices, including:
- Apple: App Store, Sign in with Apple, Apple Health, device services, and related platform functionality
- Cloud infrastructure providers: Services used for APIs, object storage, and backend hosting
- Remote storage for photos: Object storage used to save activity images
Your use of those services is also subject to the privacy terms of the relevant provider.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only in limited situations such as:
- When needed to provide functionality you choose to use
- When sharing is required for training, nutrition, or connection workflows you initiate
- When processed by service providers supporting App infrastructure
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets
10. Data Retention
Locally cached data may remain on your device until you delete it, sign out, clear app data, or remove the App. Data stored in backend services or remote storage may remain until deleted according to product behavior, support workflows, account deletion flows, or applicable retention needs.

Kaevra is not directed to young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner requiring direct collection by us. If you believe information has been provided improperly, contact us and we will review the request.
13. International Use
If you use the App from outside the operator's home jurisdiction, information may be processed in other jurisdictions depending on the hosting, storage, and platform services involved.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
